High holidays with or emet
The High Holidays Committee has been working hard to prepare this year’s services, and we are excited to have you join us! Our secular High Holiday services are free–no tickets–and open to all.
For Humanistic Jews, the High Holidays are a time to reflect on the relationship of the universe to human need and desire. We assess our behavior during the past year and affirm the possibilities for change, improvement and happiness. The High Holidays open the Jewish year with the most important message of Jewish history: human dignity is not a gift of destiny; it is a human achievement, requiring courage and self-reliance.
Please see below for details about our services and programs, and click on these links to access our annual High Holiday Sign-Up Form and our new Registration for the Break-Fast. Please note that the break-fast does require paid reservations (the one exception to the “free and no tickets” rule) if you wish to eat the catered meal, but you are welcome to bring your own food instead if you wish.
