DESCRIPTION:Or Emet’s Sunday adult programs are free and open to the public and meet concurrently with the Jewish Cultural Sunday School.\n\nToday’s program\, “American Religious Freedom and the Jewish Revolutionary Soldiers Who Guaranteed It\,” will be led by Or Emet member Bruce Pomeranz\, a retired librarian who excels at research.\n\nPomeranz will use the book “A Promised Land: Jewish Patriots\, the American Revolution\, and the Birth of Religious Freedom” by Adam Jortner as a springboard to explore this fascinating examination of the intersection of our Jewish roots and values with the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding.\n\n\nThose who cannot attend in person may join over Zoom. Zoom registration information will be added closer to the event date.\n\nWe continue to collect empty pill bottles and personal care items for clients at Listening House\, a St. Paul drop-in center.
