SUMMARY:Adult Program: "Turning the Bend: When It’s Time for Senior Services"
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, May 17\, from 10 a.m.-noon\, Or Emet will host a presentation by social worker Roni Falck\, the senior services program coordinator for Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minnesota. \nThe Sunday adult programs are free and open to the public and meet concurrently with the Jewish Cultural Sunday School. \nThose who cannot attend in person may join over Zoom. Zoom registration information will be added closer to the event date. \nWe continue to collect empty pill bottles and personal care items for clients at Listening House\, a St. Paul drop-in center. DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, May 29\, from 7:30-9 p.m.\, Or Emet will host a Humanistic Shabbat service led by Rabbi Eva Cohen followed by a presentation and social time. \nTonight’s presenters are James Farnsworth\, program director for the YMCA Center for Youth Voice\, and students in the program.
